简介：硅铁是以焦炭、钢屑、石英（或硅石）为原料，用电炉冶炼制成的铁硅合金。

用途:

(1)在炼钢工业中用作脱氧剂和合金剂。

(2)在铸铁工业中用作孕育剂和球化剂,在铸铁过程中加入一定量的硅铁能阻止铁中形成碳化物、促进石墨的析出和球化。

(3)75#硅铁是生产金属镁的主要原材料，吨耗在1.1吨左右。

(4)磨细或雾化处理过的硅铁粉，在选矿工业中可作为悬浮相，在焊条制造业中可作为焊条的涂料。
